Facade cladding
Installing stone cladding on the facade of a house is currently a major trend. There are many options and ways to clad the facade of a house, and it depends solely on the personal taste of each customer. Natural stone is most often used as exterior cladding for plinths, houses, or fences. The modern combination of glass and stone is simply amazing! However, facade cladding is also often used for commercial projects, residences, and corporate headquarters.
How to choose facade cladding for your house? When making their choice, each client must decide what material they want their cladding to be made of. The most common material is natural stone, followed by its imitation, so-called artificial stone made of concrete, plaster, plastic, wood, or polystyrene. Our range includes products made from genuine, 100% eco-friendly natural stone. Plaster cladding is intended for interior use as it is not water-resistant. You should then choose your facade cladding based solely on your personal style and color preferences.
Surface Treatments
Our facade cladding comes in a variety of surface finishes to suit different styles and functions:
- Sandblasted – a textured, slightly rough surface
- Tumbled – a process that softens edges and gives the stone an aged, weathered appearance while maintaining a pleasant, tactile smoothness.
- Split – rough, natural split-face texture
- Brushed – smooth but with a subtle texture
- Honed – a very fine, even surface with a soft sheen; smooth to the touch but non-reflective
Special note: Travertine features soft tones and a fine texture, available either filled or unfilled depending on the desired look. Large travertine tiles can be VC (vein cut), revealing elegant linear patterns, or CC (cross cut), highlighting a more cloud-like, natural structure.
Edge Options
Edges can be customized for a perfect finish:
- Hand-cut – traditional craftsmanship for a rustic look
- Machine-cut – precise and uniform edges
- Chiselled – textured, decorative edges
- Flamed – rough, slip-resistant edges
- Polished – smooth, sleek edges for a refined appearance
The face cladding can be made of travertine, marble, quartzite, slate, limestone, sandstone, andesite, gneiss and porphyry,
Natural stone cladding increases the value of your property
In addition to classic advantages such as long life, high durability, and luxurious design, stone cladding offers another huge advantage. This natural material applied to a house significantly increases the value of the property itself. This means that investing in facade cladding really pays off.
