Marble Black Rock face - corner

Not rated

Black rock face natural stone cladding - as the name suggests, it is dark gray to black in color with beautiful white veining, with a diameter of 5 to 40 cm and a thickness of 2 to 5 cm. The back is smooth, allowing for easy handling and installation that any DIY enthusiast or craftsman can handle.

It boasts properties such as frost resistance, weather resistance, durability, and thanks to its robustness, even minor impacts will not damage it. It is a great and, above all, elegant addition to the exterior, but you will certainly use your creativity in the interior as well.

Product detailed description

In interior spaces, it is popular as wall cladding in kitchens and living rooms, or you can use it to clad and highlight your fireplace. Black rock face marble will also stand out as a natural cladding on the facade of a house, plinths, garage, pillars, or to liven up a dull fence. In both cases, this cladding will give a very nice rustic, cozy, and natural look.

This type of stone can be laid in two ways: without joints or with joints. We recommend adding +5% extra cladding for any trimming and fine-tuning. When laying without joints, you should add an extra 20% of cladding, as this method requires careful adjustment of the individual pieces of cladding to fit tightly together. It is up to you which method you choose, but you can't go wrong with either one.

To treat natural stone, you can use HMK S 242 impregnation – with color enhancement (creates a so-called wet effect), or HMK S 234 – without color enhancement. Both of these impregnations prevent water, grease, and dirt from penetrating the surface of the stone.
